of the Denver community for over 30 years. Conceived in the late 1970's
by local collectors and artists, the Museum started as a few exhibits
that would travel to local schools, libraries and public buildings.
After finding our home in a Colorado Historical Society building in
1987, DMMDT began to draw visitors through our fun exhibits and unique
collection. The DMMDT stages four major exhibit changes throughout the
year and has acquired a collection of over 10,000 items, primarily
through generous donations by community members. Our exhibits range
from artisan dollhouses to giant teddy bears, exquisite antique dolls
to well loved metal cars and toy soldiers. |
